Charity Bridge Event 31st March

44 members and guests from Burnham and further afield enjoyed the afternoon playing Chicago Bridge in the beautiful RB dining room.  Chicago Bridge is a very relaxing and sociable game, and it was lovely to see some new players joining in.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and there was a lot of chatter between friends old and new during the tea break. Many thanks to those who made cakes and scones – all organised by Janet.

During the tea, Debbie de Bolz described the work of Farleigh Hospice and also the huge cost of running it.

And we are delighted to announce that on Friday £783 was raised to support their work in the local community.

It was a fun afternoon and the overall winners were Ally Barton and Pat Calver, with Helen and Gavin Rouse winning the lowest score spot.

Lots of pictures below and hope to repeat this event later in the year.

Our thanks to all who supported this, and Happy Easter!
